Daniel's Victory

To Victory and beyond ...

This is a major rework of the Heller HMS Victory kit. It started with a complete overhaul of the figure head ...

Image

... improved thickness of the hull, detailed decks ...

Image

... the omnipresent wood grain structure sanded off, the gunport rigols reworked, the chainplates and deadeyes replaced ...

Image

... the glazing bars of the windows thinned, the drop remodeled ...

Image

... the much discussed side entry port and the all new steps ...

Image

... the all new name sign, the emergency chains for the rudder, real coppering ...

Image

... the new binnacle on the right, compared to mark 1in the middle and the Heller original on the left, presented on the samples for the new wooden decks ...

Image

... and led thus far to the first studies of the cannons. Just 98 of those and some thousand details more to go :-)

Here is a new picture

Hope you enjoy the pictures, Daniel.
