Just Finished the Display Case

Post by pstanfield » Sat May 26, 2012 12:21 am

Just finished up the display case so I'll be running the Pearl down to my daughter. I'm not a fan of completely clear display cases, so I made a framed case using 2mm plexi reinforced with pine corner strips. Unframed display cases remind me too much of aquariums. My creation came out nice and was very easy on the wallet. In the pic you'll notice the gap in the top framing. This is because I made the case so the top is removable.

Well done. A great job on the case and the model has come up superbly. Sorry I don't comment as often as others in threads as builds progress - but I do still look in most days.
