Crew arrives from China:

Post by Pete Coleman » Wed Mar 07, 2012 3:11 pm

Hello, hello, hello, what's all this 'ere then?
The crew have arrived from China and as far as I can tell they should have been dressed in pirate outfits!
The box, internal packaging, figures and figure painting is exactly like for like when compared against the "Preiser" figure set.
However, there are no markings nor any printing anywhere and nothing to say by whom and where they were cast...
Still and all they look just as good as the Preiser ones!
They do look rather better in actuality compared to my quick photos.
At 1:50th scale they are slightly smaller in stature than the three Bachmann 1:48th figures that I have been using up until now, (men with orange jackets and man in black suit in the photos) and this in turn helps to increase the perceived size of the surrounding 1:50th scale equipment.
Sorry for the poor photography!
I will now be able to do the build-up sequence of photos for the big crane...
Cheers,
Pete.
